Ex-Crane Employee, Phyllis Blacker Turns 100

We are delighted to announce the 100th birthday of one of our ex-typing supervisors. Phyllis Blacker worked for Crane in Ipswich for just under 27 years, retiring in 1976 at the age of 60. Even then, she continued to work for Crane from home for a few years. Phyllis turned 100 on Sunday, and we are delighted to have been part of her special day.
Alison Falcucci from Crane’s customer service department said, “Phyllis was thrilled and rather emotional that Crane remembered her in her celebration, she was very touched to receive the flowers and present Crane sent.”
