WASK Aquastop Keeps Edinburgh Flowing For Christmas

Sarco and the WASK Aquastop delivered festive success by stopping water leakage in Edinburgh, a UNESCO World Heritage city decorated for Christmas.
The WASK Aquastop bagging deployment equipment was installed on a 9" water main at a location close to the historic Edinburgh castle in November 2025.
Following a burst on the city-centre water main, a rapid overnight response by Jardine Utilities and Sarco, working for Scottish Water, successfully re-established supply and avoided disruption to iconic locations including Princes Street and the Royal Mile.
