Crane Co. 2025 Philanthropy, Sustainability & Equality (PSE) Report
22 May 2026
We're pleased to share some sustainability highlights from the Crane Co. 2025 Philanthropy, Sustainability & Equality (PSE) Report.
Sustainability is embedded in how we design, manufacture, and supply solutions across Water, Gas, and Building Services. Our site-level actions directly contribute to the progress delivered across Crane operations.
What this looks like in practice:
- - A 20% reduction in emissions intensity, achieved ahead of Crane's 2030 target, driven by efficiency improvements across manufacturing sites
- - A new target of a further 10% reduction in emissions intensity by 2030, reinforcing long-term decarbonisation commitments
- - An 11% reduction in electricity consumption compared to 2018, supported by operational controls and site-level initiatives
- - A 34% reduction in water use since 2018, reflecting a continued focus on responsible water stewardship
- - 73.6% of total waste recycled, with additional material diverted through waste-to-resource and waste-to-energy routes
- - ISO 14001 certification achieved at 9 Crane sites globally, including Crane Building Services & Utilities.
These outcomes are the result of practical, on-the-ground improvements - from manufacturing efficiency and waste management to data-driven environmental controls - delivering measurable impact across our operations.
