The Posiflex bespoke product was chosen to connect pipework to an aquarium as it was ideal for the very low spring rate. This flexible Posiflex joint has the ability to absorb a high load and protect the aquarium from pressure variations that can develop in the system. Transporting water in an ABS plastic pipe, it was fitted in vertical pipework connecting filtered water supplies to a very large aquarium, which was a key feature of the development.
